Before your first session
What should you bring to the first session?
Your initial medical records and your latest test results (for a voice problem, the ENT specialist’s report), and a way to pay: cheque or cash.
Is osteopathy reimbursed?
As a rule, the Assurance Maladie, France’s national health insurance, does not reimburse it, but many top-up health insurers cover part of the cost. Ask the practice and your insurer.
What should you do if you lose your voice?
First have your vocal cords examined urgently by an ENT doctor or a phoniatrician, and stop singing in the meantime. If you also have difficulty breathing or swallowing, call 15 (or 112). Jean-Marie Legé then sees singers urgently.
