> When you go to see Mr Legé, you meet the biggest names and the greatest artists in his waiting room. But his great discretion and his great reserve mean that he never names anyone, never talks about who he has treated. And yet everyone in the business knows.

## General, cranial, visceral and biodynamic osteopathy

Jean-Marie Legé’s patients speak of precise, gentle movements, which he explains, and of how closely he listens.

> Treating a joint by making it crack amounts to producing a release, rather like peeling off a suction cup. But a manipulation is a change in the axis of one part of the joint, and it is only rarely accompanied by a crack. […] The after-effects of treatment are far more stable when there has been no cracking, but a true manipulation.

> Which osteopaths today are able to explain with precision their movements, the anatomy and the science? Because, as he says himself, healing also comes through understanding the body, and what the patient feels is very important: it’s the starting point for working out the correction and the manipulation.

> […] The manipulations are done with great gentleness, far from the image people sometimes have of osteopathy. […]

## The body and the voice, with Adeline Toniutti

Jean-Marie Legé works with Adeline Toniutti at CALYP’s Voice Clinic, where together they support singers and people with vocal difficulties. He is the author of eleven boxed texts in *Anatomie du Chant* (The Anatomy of Singing), Adeline Toniutti’s book (Marabout, 2024; in Russian in 2026), and developed its diagrams with her. *La Bonne Voix* (The Right Voice, Leduc, 2025) relates their conversation about speaking.

> Adeline is a centrifugal force. I really like her precision when it comes to the areas of the body that are going to be an obstacle or a hindrance to the freedom of the voice, to the freedom of the breath and the sound.
