## Long experience with professional athletes

Over his career, he has treated professional athletes from every sport; today he mainly treats elite athletes and singers.

> Mr Jean-Marie Legé, my osteopath […] with great experience of elite athletes and artists […]
>
> Adeline Toniutti, *La Bonne Voix* (Leduc, 2025), p. 95 (Translated from the French.)

He works closely with Estelle Moltenis, a licensed physiotherapist who specialises in supporting professional athletes and singers ([her profile on calyp.fr](https://www.calyp.fr/en/team/estelle-moltenis/)).

## Manipulating a joint is not the same as cracking it

> […] a manipulation is a change in the axis of one part of the joint, and it is only rarely accompanied by a crack. […] The after-effects of treatment are far more stable when there has been no cracking, but a true manipulation. […]
>
> Jean-Marie Legé, in Adeline Toniutti’s *Anatomie du Chant* (Marabout, 2024), p. 178 (Translated from the French.)

> […] he is very careful with his movements, he doesn’t hurt you at all and he is very effective. […]
>
> Julia, October 2026 (Translated from the French.)

In *Anatomie du Chant* (The Anatomy of Singing), he also explains [the psoas, interlocked with the diaphragm](https://jeanmarielege.com/en/explanations/#psoas), [the role of the obliques](https://jeanmarielege.com/en/explanations/#obliques) and [the rush of blood during exertion](https://jeanmarielege.com/en/explanations/#nerfs).
